NeoStrata Foaming Glycolic Wash Review & Giveaway

I’m not going to lie to you. This is not one of my frugal products. It’s actually a high end face wash. But sometimes you have to go the extra mile or spend the extra dollar to get what you really need. For the last week I’ve been washing my face with NeoStrata Foaming Glycolic Wash and I couldn’t be more pleased.

This foaming facial cleanser is a potent, pH-balanced formula with Glycolic Acid. The foam is itself is light and airy and you do not need much to wash your face. The Glycolic Acid evens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles (although I’ve not been using it long enough to give you personal data on that) and there is lactobionic acid that reduces lines and wrinkles and smoothes texture. It was actually recommended in the Prevention Defy Your Age Challenge.

While I can not give you actual data on the fine lines and wrinkles yet I do know that the formula (18% Glycolic Adic and 2% Lactobionic Acid) gently exfoliates, unclogs congested pores, and stimulates cell renew. What this means for me is that I don’t have a forehead that is full of grease. After a few days I noticed that I no longer had a super oily T zone – trust me, mine was really bad (I believe I’ve mentioned it before). At the same time my skin has not been dry  either. Given that we’ve had several days in STL that they’ve called a “heat advisory” I think that it’s awesome that I’ve had the most normal skin I’ve ever had since hitting puberty (and no, I’m not going to tell you how long that has been).
