First off, I either like to be in sky high heels (super high arches) or barefoot. Secondly, I said that I would never be one of those people that wear "plastic" shoes. They all appear clunky and thick and ugly. I lied. On both counts. But there is a good reason why. Let me explain.

I was introduced to Dawgs when I was contacted by their Cherry, their Social Media Marketer. I took a look at the website while I was on lunch break and I thought, "well these are actually cute." Then I thought that I could use a new pair of shoes. But of course the women's sizes start at 5 and we all know that my feet won't fit in there. Sad.

So I took a longer look and, score!, they have girls sizes! So I wrote Cherry back and told her that I'd be absolutely thrilled to review a pair of Dawgs shoes. Now came the hard part, making a selection. They have boots (my most favorite type of shoe) as well as various styles of flats. So after looking and looking I decided on the Dawgs Girls Spirit. Then I needed to select color. I have all white tennies so I wanted to go black. Then I wanted colors that looked like they came from the women's line (even though everyone knows I can't wear women's shoes but I still want to look like a big girl). Here is what I picked.....

I'm not sure why they look purple on the website. They really are soft pink. 

So here's the deal. Wearing these Dawgs Spirit's are like walking barefoot. On a cloud. They are by far my most favorite pair of shoes. I've even worn them to work several times and I typically dress professional at work (we are business casual there). Tuesdays are a really busy day for me at work and I'm up and down all day long, running up and down stairs, going through the plant and these shoes are a lifesaver!

They are also not thick and clunky like other shoes made with similar materials (Dawgs are made with soft EVA). They are thin and light and so easy to wear. All the stuff in the pic above is not just propaganda. It's the truth.

I'm getting tired now so I think I'm going to wrap this up and go to bed. I'm seriously considering wearing my Dawgs Spririt when I do.
