Bennu Greensack Giveaway! Win a Bag Made of Recycled Bottles!

I think of a hero as someone who understands the degree
of responsibility that comes with his freedom.
~ Bob Dylan
About:

Bennu is a social media marketing company that develops and executes corporate social responsibility (CSR) solutions. Their campaigns increase enterprise value and promote sustainability by combining purpose, fun and engagement. Bennu’s mission is greening the standard for a new lifestyle.

Bennu’s inspiration originated from the disturbing amount of waste – particularly plastic bottles – being sent to landfills as trash. With tens of billions of potentially useful bottles wasted each year, Bennu launched by developing recycled products that prevent landfill dumping, save energy and serve practical consumer needs. At the same time, their goal was to educate people about the environmental, social and economic value of sustainability.

The name Bennu reflects the company’s purpose and vision. The Bennu bird is the Egyptian equivalent to the Greek Phoenix, which represents rebirth. The company Bennu exists to promote a greener new lifestyle for a society that has long taken for granted environmentally harmful ways.

Thoughts from Carli:
You may recall that in January I did a review for Bennu. You can see the original here.  Most recently I received a bag made out of 100% out of recycled plastic bottles.

I have to admit that I wasn't too thrilled about the bag because I have another one in the same style. I can't remember where I got it because I don't use it. The one I already have is thin and the side drawstrings are nothing more than .... well, strings.

My Greensack is awesome! The strings are rope like and the bag itself is also thick without being bulky. The fabric is easy to clean up should you get some spills on it.

20 plastic bottles is one bag! When you go to a restaurant and you're looking all of the plastic water bottles sitting on the tables you can be thankful that there are companies like Bennu making sure that they aren't going to be in our landfills for years to come.
