If life gives you lemons, stick them down your shirt and make your boobs look bigger.
Julie Crotty, came up with the concept for Cleavitz® back in 2004.
As a busy executive with a passion for fashion, she struggled to find a comfortable and simple way to "manage" her cleavage. She needed a way to make them business appropriate during the day, and at the same time, a little more "fun" at night.
She tried various solutions -- tube tops, bandeau tops, fabrics that taped, snapped or clipped to your bra. But every solution she tried provided more challenges instead of less.
Cleavitz® started to come alive when, for the first time, Julie cut off the bottom half of one of her full tank tops and wore it under a favorite fashion find that spent way too much time in the closet.
With all of this interest and support, Cleavitz® was born in 2008 with the purpose of creating comfortable half-tops that would allow women of all bust sizes to display as much cleavage as they cared to for a variety of occasions. Now, Cleavitz® is the go to fashion accessory that comes in a variety of colors, styles and fabrics.
Thoughts from Carli:
I have worn and even reviewed a similar half top to the Cleavitz right here on this very site. Reviewed it, not wore it. I did not know real comfort though until I tried the Cleavitz! You put it on and forget it's there. This is important to remember. Why?
The other tops I have that cover the girls for work I'm always fiddling with. Playing with the band and tugging at it. Whatever Julie has done for the Cleavitz works wonders! I don't feel like it's there and I'm not self conscious that there is something besides my already annoying bra under my boobs.
It's also a great way to change the look of your outfit without buying a bunch of new clothes. Since there are so many colors and styles you could take a wrap dress and make it great for the work day with a cotton Cleavitz and then give it more of a nighttime or romantic look with a lace Cleavitz.
To top it off -- this top is made in the USA! In this economy it's important that we support each other whenever we can.
